Move-out and move-in cleaning for renters, homeowners and sellers across Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties. You get a flat-rate price before we book, so you can plan it around your final walkthrough. Anything we cleaned that isn't right, report within 24 hours and we'll return to re-clean it.

Renters: the clean before your walkthrough
You’re handing back the keys, and the landlord or property manager is about to walk through with a checklist. Book the clean for after the last box is out and before that walkthrough. The price is a flat rate agreed before we book, so moving week has one less surprise.
We can’t promise what a landlord will or won’t deduct. That’s their call, under your lease and South Carolina law. What we can do is clean what’s on our checklist, then come back and re-clean anything that isn’t right if you tell us within 24 hours. Time it so the re-clean window works for you
Leave a gap between the clean and the walkthrough. That way you can look the place over, and if something was missed, report it inside the 24-hour window while there’s still time for us to come back.
Plan how we get in. If you’ve already returned the keys, or nobody can let us in at the scheduled time, a $50 lockout fee applies.
Late July is lease-turnover season
In Charleston, many leases end in late July, especially around the colleges downtown. Moving trucks, a crowded calendar and a hard key-return date all land in the same week. If your lease ends then, book early. You can still reschedule for free with more than 72 hours’ notice.

Moving into a house or apartment? A move-in clean happens before your furniture arrives, when every cabinet, closet and floor is easy to reach. It’s the same flat-rate pricing. Once you’re settled, a recurring plan saves 20% weekly, 15% biweekly or 10% monthly.

Move-in / move-out cleaning questions
Will a move-out clean get my security deposit back?
No cleaning company can promise your deposit, because your landlord decides deductions under your lease and South Carolina law. Harbor Home Cleaners cleans the home to our move-out checklist before your walkthrough, and if anything we cleaned isn't right, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and re-clean it.
How far before my final walkthrough should I book a move-out clean?
Book the move-out clean after the last box is out but early enough that you can check the home and still use the 24-hour re-clean window before the walkthrough. Keep a way for us to get in on the day: if the keys are already returned and we can't access the home, Harbor Home Cleaners charges a $50 lockout fee.
